When God Winks at You

There are moments heaven whispers without a sound.

A butterfly lingers.

A rainbow stretches across yesterday's storm.

A verse opens to the page your soul desperately needed.

Some call them coincidences.

I call them God winks.

They are the gentle reminders that the Author of galaxies is still writing your story.

They say, "I see you."

When you think you've been forgotten,

He winks.

When you've prayed the same prayer for the thousandth time,

He winks.

When tears fall where no one else can see,

He leaves little fingerprints of hope along your path.

A closed door that saves you from the wrong destination.

An unexpected phone call.

The exact amount you needed.

A sunrise that paints the sky with colors only a loving Father would choose.

None of them accidents.

Love is always intentional.

Sometimes we wait for miracles wrapped in spectacular moments,

while heaven delights in sending them wrapped in everyday grace.

The parking spot.

The answered text.

The child who laughs.

The friend who remembers.

The peace that arrives without explanation.

Tiny gifts.

Holy interruptions.

Sacred reminders that God has never stopped paying attention.

So keep your eyes open.

The world is full of ordinary miracles wearing ordinary clothes.

Every sunrise.

Every answered prayer.

Every unexpected kindness.

Every ounce of courage you didn't know you possessed.

Look closely.

He is still speaking.

Still guiding.

Still delighting in His children.

And every now and then,

when your heart catches one of those moments

that only heaven could have arranged,

don't brush it aside.

Smile back.
